Aerodrome Finance and Velodrome Finance previously announced a merger into Aero with a new AERO token. Coinbase will support the migration of Aerodrome Finance (AERO) and Velodrome Finance (VELO) to the new Aero (AERO) token from November 2-4, 2026.

Ahead of the migration, the following services will be impacted:
- Sends and receives of AERO and VELO will be temporarily disabled from November 2 - 4, 2026. - Please refrain from depositing or transferring AERO or VELO during this time. - VELO order books have been moved to limit-only mode. Trading of VELO will be disabled on November 2, 2026. - Trading of AERO will not be impacted.
AERO will be converted to the new AERO token at a rate of 1:1. VELO will be converted to AERO at a rate of approximately 0.044 AERO per VELO. There will be no transaction fees associated with the conversion.
If you wish to opt-out of this automatic conversion please send your AERO or VELO to a compatible self-custody wallet before November 2, 2026. Tax consequences may apply. Please consult your local tax professional.
After the migration, Coinbase will no longer support deposits or withdrawals of the legacy AERO token. Please do not send the legacy AERO token to your Coinbase deposit address after the migration is complete, as these deposits may not be recoverable.
